ABOUT

Dancers Unite is a charity event established in 2015 that combines the best dance schools around Melbourne to showcase their performances in order to raise funds and awareness for various organisations.

This performance night brings the dance community together to educate the younger generation

about the importance of compassion and to shed a light on communities in need.

2015:

In 2015 we were fortunate to raise significant funds for the Make A Wish Foundation and created a base to grow off each year.

2019:

Our second show funded the Royal Children’s Hospital, in hopes to provide support to the children who suffer through many illnesses, lack of health and complex obstacles on a daily basis.

2020:

Due to the unfortunate results of Covid-19, the event was cancelled, however, an appreciable donation was still proudly made to the Australian Lung Foundation.

2021:

Our fourth event focused upon the struggling families in Syria who live in immense poverty and lack basic humanitarian essentials. In unity our funds were divided and distributed evenly across the communities that are unable to purchase food, water and necessities. Collaborating with social workers located in Syria, they utilised their data to disperse the funds raised accordingly.

2022:

The fifth show drew focus to the communities in Cambodia and the enlarged shortage of clean water. With the funds raised, in collaboration with AusRelief, all profits made contributed towards building water wells for Cambodians in need.

2023:

Our sixth show collaborated with Classroom of Hope to eradicate the lack of education available to young minds in Indonesia. Building block schools made from recycled plastic waste to construct safe learning environments for children in the community.

Our Dancers Unite event endeavours to make a significant impact on the worldly issues that are deprived of needed attention, encouraging all individuals to get involved. We love growing our event each year by including a broad range of dance schools and acts to make the night both inspiring and spectacular.
